Page 1: Information

This survey is for clergy in senior leadership roles, i.e., clergy who oversee the ministry of a local church, churches, or a denomination (ministers, pastors, priests, bishops etc).  [Note: This survey is not for children's or family ministry pastors, practitioners, teachers, or volunteers...Please pass the link onto your church leader to complete.]

We are a team of researchers from the US, Brazil, Canada and the UK (Liverpool Hope University, Margaret Beaufort Institute of Theology, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Scripture Union, Bible Centred Ministries International, Geração Elo).

We are investigating how churches can most effectively meet the spiritual needs of children and families in the season ahead.  Your response will help children's and family ministry practitioners rethink the framework of children's and family ministry.  Thank you for contributing to the future health and growth of children's and family ministry.

There are twenty-nine required questions and five optional questions. It takes about twelve minutes to do the required questions (If you don't know the precise answer, please make an educated guess).

Two to three months following the completion of the survey, we will send you the results and a report that synthesizes the findings.

Thank you for your willingness to complete this survey.  The risks to you are minimal as your part is only to complete this online survey, and you can answer it freely, knowing that the responses will be read and reported anonymously.  In addition, we will ensure that no descriptive information is ever used that would make you identifiable - so feel free to answer honestly.  Please be assured that your responses will be read in an open and non-judgmental manner.

Please note that your confidentiality and anonymity cannot be assured if, during the research, it comes to light that you are involved in illegal or harmful behaviours that may need disclosing to the appropriate authorities.

You are free to withdraw from this survey at anytime.  If you wish to withdraw or want any further information, please feel free to email Sarah Holmes at youngfaith@hope.ac.uk.
